About me
My journey to Just Creating You began during the lowest part of my life, after surviving a double mastectomy that presented unexpected complications. I had to have two surgeries within a 12 hour period. I had minutes to comprehend what was happening and choices I had to quickly make. I was alone and was not offered any help or services in the hospital. Instead I had to advocate and fight for options I should have just been given. I also experienced survivor's guilt, which further complicated my emotional state. I realized for me there were 4 parts to my recovery which were: emotional, mental, spiritual and physical. Once I began working on each of those parts the reality of what surviving and trauma is helped me to understand what should be available to others during this time.
My Approach
My unique approach to personal development—inspiring, guiding, and empowering—stems from my own experiences. I realized there was a lack of support for individuals facing similar challenges. I aim to offer what I couldn't find: understanding, guidance, and practical advice.
My Hope for you
My hopes that in sharing my story it will resonate with you and make you feel less alone. Consider me your friend who will listen without judgment. This is your personal journey, and I'm here to support you. I offer different options to help with your new journey to navigate through this stressful time.
Challenges & commitment
Just Creating You wasn't without its challenges. I questioned my ability to encourage others. However, each month brought new insights, solidifying my belief in the importance of self-advocacy. Hearing that I could make a difference fueled my commitment to helping You embrace your true self.
